Date/Time

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Location
Over The Rainbow Yarn

Mawata (also called silk hankies) is silk cocoons stretched and layered in a square shape.  In this class, Jennifer will show you how to pull these delicate layers into strands you can knit straight from the “hankie” to make mittens, hats, baby sweaters, anything you want.  Mawata is an inexpensive and intriguing way to dabble in silk knitting.
