Over The Rainbow Yarn
Entrelac knitting creates a unique fabric that looks like diagonally woven strips. Don’t you just love things that look more complicated than they really are? Entrelac is one of those techniques that has a high knit-to-glory ratio (low knitting investment, huge finished piece glory!) The technique is simple to learn. You’ll have the option of using one color or multiple colors.
In this class, we’ll use Mim’s original Marlowe Entrelac Cowl pattern to knit a cozy cowl.
Skills Required: Cast on, Knit, Purl, and Pick up Stitches independently
Skill Level: Advanced beginner
Materials: Worsted or chunky weight yarn in one or more colors, US 9 straight or circular needles (optional: 6 buttons to fasten the finished cowl)
Note: If you sign up online, we’ll reserve a spot for you, and you may pay for the class when you arrive.
