Crochet Irish Lace: Rosette Bracelet
Date(s) - Sun, April 2, 2017
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Over The Rainbow Yarn
Irish lace is a crochet technique involving components made separately and then connected using crocheted chains and picots. In more complicated designs, the components would be laid out in the desired arrangement atop a backing and temporarily stitched in place while the connecting components are crocheted.
In this class, we’ll learn the basics of Irish lace while we crochet a scalloped lace bracelet or necklace with a layered rose motif.
Materials: any smooth lace-weight yarn and a small steel crochet hook (you may use a larger yarn & hook if you want to make a larger decorative trim)
Prerequisites: basic crochet knowledge (chain, single, double crochet)
Note: If you sign up online, we’ll reserve a spot for you. You may pay when you arrive for class.
