You may have noticed our Garter Trap store sample. It gets a lot of attention! It’s one of those patterns that looks a lot more complicated than it is. It’s made with a long-striping “degradé” style yarn – specifically, Jawoll Magic Degradé – interspersed with a plain-colored yarn. The effect is gorgeous: the multi-colored stripes are broken up by the plain-colored yarn so it looks like you’ve switched yarns many times and woven in a million multi-colored yarn ends when you haven’t done any of that! Due to the visual interest of the striping yarn, the very simple pattern tends to maintain the interest of potentially impatient knitters through the end. The next color is always coming right up!
